We’re committed to keeping your personal information safe and confidential both online and offline.

Our privacy statement explains how K3 Interior Design Limited (‘we’), including from its website and administrative system, obtains, uses and keeps your information safe in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) set in place in May 2018.

WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT FROM YOU:

When you become a client, customer or supplier of K3 Interior Design Limited, we will collect any or all of the following information:

  • Your full name, postal address, telephone number, mobile phone number, e-mail address, company information

  • Details relating to the service and transactions with us


WHY WE COLLECT THIS INFORMATION FROM YOU:

We only collect information for legitimate reasons. For example, by collecting your information we can understand your brief and project more clearly and be able to provide you with our services. The information can be given directly to us in person, by telephone, email or via our website enquiry form. Sometimes we may receive this information via a developer or estate agent who are directly involved with a project we are working on. We may use the information that we collect about you in the following ways:

  • For administration, accounting and customer services

  • To tailor & deliver our services to you and provide you with the information and services that you request from us


DISCLOSURE OF YOUR INFORMATION

We may need to share your information with our accounting package service provider for the purposes of delivering administration of the services you have requested.

If we enter into a joint venture or are sold, transferred to or merged with another business entity or if our business structure changes, the information we hold about you may be disclosed to the new business partners or owners, although your personal information will still only be used in accordance with these terms.


WHERE WE STORE YOUR PERSONAL DATA

By providing us with your personal information, you consent to our processing your personal data for the above purposes. We employ security measures to protect your personal information on and off-line from access by unauthorised persons and against unlawful processing, accidental loss, destruction and damage. We may retain your personal information after we have ceased using it for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy, or for financial records as long as the law requires.


HOW DO WE KEEP YOUR DATA SECURE?

While your project is live, we have a paper record which are kept in our office. These are shredded once the project is completed. All data stored electronically will be deleted in accordance with GDPR policy. Our servers are protected using HTTP and SSL technology, so whilst your data is in our care we know it’s as secure as it can be.


HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR DATA?

K3 Interior Design will not retain your personal information for longer than necessary.

Our staff are trained in data security, and our staff policies and procedures help our staff to understand what is required of them under their obligations to us, and also their responsibilities under the GDPR and other privacy legislation.

The Internet is not a totally secure medium and you acknowledge and agree that K3 Interior Design Limited shall not be responsible for unauthorised use, distribution, damage or destruction of personal data, except to the extent that we are required to accept such responsibility under GDPR.


YOUR RIGHTS REGARDING YOUR PERSONAL DATA

You are entitled to obtain details of the information that we hold about you, whether personal data is being processed, the purpose of the processing and how long it will be stored for.
